What is a Hybrid Closing and why should we consider it? A Hybrid Closing combines electronic signing for the bulk of the package with wet-ink signatures and notarization on the key lender-required pages (e.g. Promissory Note and Deed of Trust). Compared to traditional full-paper closings this reduces printing volume and potential missed fields, speeds up table time, and still meets most investor and recording requirements.

What is IPEN and how does it benefit our office? IPEN (In-Person Electronic Notarization) allows the borrower to sign on a high-quality tablet with a stylus. It feels familiar to them while keeping the entire file digital. This typically shortens signing appointments by 30–50% and reduces paper shipping and processing for your team.

Do you support fully Remote Online Notarization (RON)? Yes! I am a commissioned RON in Tennessee and can handle eligible documents remotely using my secure Proof platform or your preferred enterprise software. I maintain an IdenTrust X.509 cryptographic seal for seamless plug-and-play cross-platform compatibility.

How does working with you save us money? By reducing printed pages, courier runs, and staff time on signing coordination, most offices see meaningful savings simply from taking advantage of efficient technology. Preventing missed signatures, initials, or dates might be the biggest benefit for clearing to close on time. Properly tagged IPEN and RON files simply don't allow missed fields.

Are you experienced with e-Recording and lender requirements? Yes. I specialize in tech-forward solutions and can even help traditional offices transition to hybrid and electronic closings while respecting lender-specific requirements for wet-ink documents. The Putnam County Register of Deeds office is already equipped for e-Recording and I stay up to date on investor guidelines and recording rules across Tennessee.
